Old folks week is a traditional event not only in Dundonald but across Scotland. References can be found to"Schoolmasters & meenisters" encouraging their charges to spend a week doing nice things for the older people in our community.
In Dundonald we still celebrate this week , normally the first week in October.
Every year we have a programme of Bingo, Live Music, Entertainment and special church services.
This year we want to celebrate the contribution that the over 60's make to our society.
